Cgrape Coffee and Wine Bar Team Up with Local Musicians and Red Cross to Host Benefit Concert for Haiti
Bonita Springs, FL — January 15, 2010 — Cgrape Coffee and Wine Bar, a locally-owned and operated business, will team up with local musicians and the Red Cross to host a benefit concert this Sunday, Jan. 17, at 5 p.m.
Antonio Correia, Carl Shillo from the Silverado Band, Ross Friends, Jim Leahy and others will perform.
Customers will be able to make direct contributions to the Red Cross at the concert. The first donation will come from the Cgrape Coffee and Wine Bar. The proceeds from sales during the concert will also go to the Red Cross.
Owners, Mai and Drew Harkness, felt it was only natural to do their part to help. “Our customers become friends and friends always pull together as a community to help those in need, whether in Bonita Springs or Haiti.. Our thoughts and prayers are with our brothers and sisters from Haiti.”
“It’s important to donate our time and talent as well as our money,” says Antonio Correia, a featured musician. “I’m making a donation and trying to get others to do the same.”
Musicians would like to perform can call Mai Harkness at 239-221-7388.
